11th May 2015, mosque destroyed killing 5 inc 1 woman 2 children when coalition airstrikes target Al-Muthafar district in Yemen

On 11th May 2015, after just bombing residential homes in the neighbourhood 250 meters away, jets returned a second time to bomb Al-Sunnah Mosque in Al-Muthafar district, in an aread called Almuroor. 5 civilians were killed including 1 woman and 2 children, and 7 others were wounded, including 2 women and 1 child. A bus was also destroyed, ruining the livelihood of a young man. Following the airstrikes the terrified resident moved out of the neighbourhood and became displaced.

On 11th May 2015, 13 civilians, including 8 children and 3 women were killed when the Saudi led coaltion hit a residential area in Al-Dahi Valley in Al-Muthafar District west of Ta'iz city. 6 others were injured including 3 women and 3 children. Jets returned to bomb the area just 250 meters away causing rescuers to flee, leaving victims to fend for themselves.
